Liquid to Gas Oxygen Refilling "We went from $3.50 to $0.55 a tank with Oxyfill®" Tim Flad Med-Caire, Inc. Vernon, CT
This is the cost savings Med-Caire, Inc. experienced in just one year's operation when they switched from an outside gas supplier to their own Oxyfill Transfill Liquid to Gas System. In Business for over 25 years, Med-Caire Inc. delivers about 100 tanks of oxygen per week to homes in the Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts area. Med-Caire has two Oxyfill® Liquid to Gas Systems. Their existing fill room staff (they haven't needed additional staff) arrives about an hour earlier in the morning to fill the day's deliveries. "Oxyfill® has delivered everything Med-Caire expected and much more," said Med-Caire's Office Manager, Tim Flad. Setting up Oxyfill® equipment and training the staff in its operation also were quick and easy with Applied's follow-up and support.
Gas to Gas Oxygen Refilling “Only 70¢ a refill and we have oxygen when we need it.” Rob Kosica Keystone Medical Jim Thorpe, PA
It became increasingly difficult for Keystone Medical to depend on its outside vendor to deliver oxygen when they needed it. With their own Applied Oxysupply™ Refilling System, they now have oxygen whenever they need it. Their Oxysupply Plus 8 Cylinder Supply Base is very efficient. It fills a rack of 18 patient cylinders in about 45 minutes and they control the quality of the cylinder inventory. In the first year of operation Keystone’s refill costs dropped from $4.25 to just 70¢ per cylinder. “The technical training and support has been excellent. Everything has been done to prepare us for our first FDA inspection. Beyond a doubt I’d rate Applied among the top sources of transfill supplies and equipment,” said Rob Kosica, Keystone Medical’s General Manager/Clinician.
Roger Costa Oxy-Med Inc Calgary, Alberta
“Oxyfill is fast and cost efficient”
From its Calgary location Oxy-Med delivers about 1,800 cylinders of oxygen a week to hospitals, emergency medical services, and home health care customers in Alberta province. Fast and efficient their new Oxyfill Gas to Liquid System is up to the challenge, filling 36 cylinders at a time every half hour for delivery. “In eighteen months of operation we reduced our filling room costs, including labor, a good 40%,” said Oxy-Med (Title) Roger Costa. The old gas transfill system was too labor intensive, filling only 12 cylinders every 20 minutes. Applied provides good customer service and the system set up and training support is excellent.

“Applied’s GMP is a great tool for ongoing required training” Kevin Strong, Operations Director Kohlls Pharmacy Omaha, NE
Applied’s Good Manufacturing Practices course provides a good self-audit and refresher for our company and its employees. GMP Oxygen Training Part I covering the seven most common violations uncovered by FDA and DOT inspectors. We require all our respiratory and maintenance personnel to retake and pass the course semi-annually as part of their ongoing training. Applied grades each exam for us and provides certificates for all employees with passing scores. Our supervisors find the course material to be creditable, well-written, and easy to use. We’d recommend Applied’s training and documentation aids to anyone seeking accreditation in the healthcare industry. Kohlls also relies on Applied Oxyfill® Refilling Systems to supply its patients in the Omaha area with oxygen.
