HOW IT WORKS:
The OXYSAFE™ thermal shut off device’s certified heat activated feature
senses a sustained temperature of 248º F. (120º C) and shuts the oxygen
flow off completely to stop the burn back instantly. In addition, a special
non-return or check valve prevents water, moisture vapor, and other
contaminants from flowing back into the concentrator or regulator. 

OXYSAFE™ is made from nickel plated brass and high temperature elastomers,
1.75” long by .75 wide, and weighs only 5 ounces. Stops water, moisture
vapor, and other contaminants multiple times, simply replace after burn back.

Order 1109-2012, OXYSAFE Thermal Shut Off Device Kit with CONNECTOR
and barbs for insertion in the cannula or supply tubing (see figure 1 above).
